Origions of Syrah
Syrah originated in the Northern Rhône Valley of France, a fact confirmed by DNA research showing it's a cross between Dureza and Mondeuse Blanche grapes native to that region. While deeply rooted in French history and still prominent there (especially in Hermitage and Côte-Rôtie), Syrah is now grown globally, famously known as Shiraz in Australia, its second major home
